Services

Microsoft consultancy and development, from strategy to production

Engage me for senior contract delivery or a focused project. I can combine services to suit the work, but every engagement begins with the business outcome, the constraints and the evidence needed to make the right technical choices.

Microsoft 365 and SharePoint

SharePoint Online is the content, intranet and document platform at the centre of Microsoft 365. I design SharePoint architectures and build SPFx (SharePoint Framework) web parts and extensions that fit how your organisation works.

  • SharePoint Online architecture and modernisation
  • Intranets and employee experiences
  • SPFx web parts, extensions and application customisers
  • Information architecture, permissions and governance
  • Business process and document solutions
  • Migration planning, automation and remediation
  • Microsoft Teams and wider M365 integration
  • PowerShell and PnP automation
02

Power Platform

Power Platform is Microsoft’s low-code suite: Power Apps for business applications, Power Automate for workflow and Dataverse for secure business data. I build and review solutions that stay governable as they grow.

  • Advanced Canvas and model-driven applications
  • Power Automate cloud flows and process automation
  • Dataverse architecture and security
  • Integration with SharePoint, Azure and external systems
  • Solution review, performance improvement and rescue work
  • Environment strategy, ALM and governance
03

Azure and custom development

When Microsoft 365 and low-code tools are not enough, I build custom React and TypeScript applications and Azure services, secured with Entra ID and integrated with your existing systems.

  • React and TypeScript business applications
  • Azure Functions and Logic Apps
  • API Management and secure custom APIs
  • Node.js, C# and serverless services
  • SQL, Dataverse, SharePoint and document-oriented data integration
  • Entra ID authentication and permission-aware design
  • CI/CD, Git workflows, testing and technical documentation
04

Architecture and delivery leadership

Good delivery starts with clear decisions. I lead discovery, shape the solution architecture, break work into deliverable features and guide teams through to a production-ready handover.

  • Solution and application architecture
  • Technical discovery and estimation
  • Agile backlog and feature decomposition
  • Technical leadership and mentoring
  • Code quality, security and accessibility review
  • Production readiness and handover

Questions

Common questions about SharePoint, SPFx and Microsoft delivery

What is SPFx (the SharePoint Framework)?

The SharePoint Framework (SPFx) is Microsoft's supported model for extending SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams and Viva Connections. SPFx solutions are built with TypeScript and React, run in the user's own security context and are deployed through the app catalogue, so they respect existing permissions.

Should I use SPFx or Power Apps?

Use Power Apps when business users need to build and maintain a form or process app quickly with low-code tools. Use SPFx when you need a polished, reusable component inside SharePoint or Teams, complex interaction, full control over performance and accessibility, or integration with custom APIs. Many solutions combine the two.

Do you provide documentation and handover?

Yes. I build for handover, not dependency. Every engagement ends with maintainable code, technical documentation, deployment steps and knowledge transfer so your team can own the solution.

Which technologies do you work with?

SharePoint Online and SPFx, Microsoft Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and API Management, React, TypeScript, Node.js and C#, Entra ID authentication, PowerShell and PnP automation, and Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and Microsoft Foundry.

How does an engagement start?

Every engagement starts with the business outcome and the constraints. Share what you are trying to achieve through the contact form, and I will suggest the right shape of support, whether that is contract delivery, a fixed-scope project or a short review.
